MEET THE ARTISAN
Amir Hossein
Amir Hossein Golshani is a Dubai-based master calligrapher and artist whose work brings language to life through the grace of a line and the precision of an engraved mark. A passion discovered at the age of eight has flourished into a distinctive artistic practice, uniting the fluid beauty of calligraphy with the meticulous craftsmanship of jewellery and hand engraving. His artistry follows the grain and contour of natural materials, from wood and leather to delicate ostrich eggs and seashells. Working in Arabic and English, Amir transforms words into intimate works of art pieces that carry a name, preserve a memory or honour a moment. His bespoke creations have drawn commissions from luxury brands, celebrities, VIP clients and royalty.
