Dubai International Airport expects 3.6 million passengers between 13 and 25 August 2026. That is 280,000 people a day, with a projected peak above 290,000 on 15 August.

Most of them are families returning from summer holidays and students heading back for the new term. This year, regional flight disruptions are concentrating all of that traffic onto fewer operating routes, which means more passengers competing for fewer seats in a very tight window.
